Spark Power delivers technical innovation, asset management, project development, maintenance, service and operational support to the renewable energy sector and industrial, commercial, institutional (ICI) and utility markets.
The power and energy sector is transforming from a unilateral monopoly into an integrated, networked ecosystem with consumers becoming producers. The emergence of new technologies, consumer demand, regulatory environment and innovative businesses creating new power alternatives are driving and accelerating this change. Spark Power, with diversified interests in the power services and renewable power sectors, is helping to revolutionize the way electricity infrastructure services are delivered.
Spara Capital, a boutique investment bank and M&A firm established in 2001 by Jason Sparaga and Eric Waxman, connected with entrepreneur, Andrew Clark, created Spark Power to capitalize on the provincial government’s newly implemented Green Energy Act.
Through aggressive growth and a series of acquisitions, Spark Power has over 700 employees and 6,500 customers and has established itself as leader in delivering power systems solutions in Canada.
Spark Power staff are Professional Engineers and Engineering Technologists, Certified Electrical Technologists, Journeymen, Electricians (309A) and Powerline Technician, with an average tenure of over 10 years’ experience in power systems management.
