Jason is an authority on entrepreneurship, finance and corporate growth in the renewable and power sectors. He is a co-founder and co-CEO of Spark Power Corp., a company he launched along with his partner, Andrew Clark in 2009. Prior to Spark Power, Jason spent 15 years as a private Industry investment and merchant banker, founding and building Spara Capital Partners into one of the leading boutique firms in Canada.

Andrew is an experienced industry leader in the renewable energy and power services sectors. He has held executive positions in the finance and manufacturing industry with CPI Plastics Group Ltd., GMP Securities and the Business Development Bank of Canada. Andrew is an active participant in renewable energy, power, financial services, and industry associations and holds board positions with the Federation of Community Power Co-operatives as well as the Community Power Fund. Andrew holds an MBA degree from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University.

Eric Waxman

Eric is an experienced business leader and financial executive.  He possesses a combination of entrepreneurial/family business background, professional training and extensive M&A experience.  Eric is a co-founder of Spark Power and is responsible for the financial oversight, corporate development, capital relationships and asset management of the company.  He holds a Bachelor degree from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University.

Gord is an industry veteran with over 20 years of hands-on leadership experience in a variety of senior roles with leading North American energy and utility services organizations on the demand, supply and delivery side of the business. With extensive experience in business development, field and back office operations, business transformation, merger and acquisitions as well as building high performance operating organizations, Gord has an appreciation of the issues facing the industry and has gained critical insights into developing leading organizational performance.  Gord brings practical leadership in the areas of operations, business strategy, operating models, and processes and technology, and is a key member of the team ensuring Spark Power is ready to respond to complex and unpredictable challenges and become more agile and competitive. Before joining Spark Power, Gord was the Managing Director for an industry leading global consultancy where he oversaw the implementation and operation of all business initiatives within the Canadian utility sector. Focused on the transformation of the power industry, Gord has successfully led the planning and delivery of a number of high-profile programs globally with the world’s’ leading energy companies.

Dan Ardila

Dan is responsible for financial reporting and recording for the Spark Power group of companies, business administration and administration of human resources. He brings over 22 years of experience in senior executive positions from both public and private businesses.  His expertise expand across a wide portfolio of industries, including executive positions at Algoma Steel Inc., CPI Plastics Group Ltd., 6N Silicon Inc., and Liquidation World.

Morgan is responsible for overseeing Spark Power’s high and medium voltage services business. He brings over 25 years’ experience in executive management, operations and project management capacities in the infrastructure, construction, engineering and energy sectors. He is a builder and an operator with an impressive track-record of innovation and entrepreneurship regardless of whether he’s building large project teams or corporate divisions. Morgan has built several divisions and subsidiaries from concepts to national and international organizations.

Roland Van Olst

President, New Electric Enterprises Inc.

Roland is responsible for overseeing Spark Power’s New Electric division. With more than 25 years’ experience in the industrial electrical sector, Roland has worked collaboratively with teams across North America to establish New Electric as a leading expert in custom control panels, electronic repair, industrial automation, preventative maintenance and energy efficiency consultation.

David Asling-Snee

President, Spark Power Renewables

David is responsible for overseeing Spark Power’s renewable services business. David brings over 20 years of diverse energy services industry experience. David joined Spark Power through the acquisition of Northwind Solutions where he led the business development function and was instrumental in building Northwind into a leading independent service provider (ISP) in Canada’s wind and solar power O&M market. Previous to Northwind, David held progressively senior positions at Consumers Gas, Enbridge Services and Direct Energy Services.

President, NESI

For 25 years, Andy focused on achieving the ideal liaison platform between field operations and admin staff through software development. Andy is a licensed electrician and an Electrical Control Technologist. Andy is a long-term strategic thinker possessing the skills and experience to build bench strength in a business layer by layer. Andy is responsible for overseeing the strategy, development and operations of Spark Power’s NESI platform, a cloud-based SaaS ERP solution for industrial electrical services contractors.

Sean Kelly

Sean Kelly

President, Community Power

Sean has many years of experience in project management and was instrumental in the founding and development of AGRIS Solar Co-operative. Sean manages the ventures group and key government relationships including the Independent Electricity System Operator, the Ministry of Energy and the Office of the Premier. Prior to working with AGRIS Solar, Sean held a variety of positions with Arvin Industries, Magna International Inc. and CPI Plastics.
